As an important part of numerous liquid processing systems, a check valve permits the flow of liquid in only one direction. The design of the valves prevents backflow and helps maintain proper system operation. At iPolymer, we focus on producing exceptional quality check valves that are usable in various applications.
Teflon Check Valve Applications
Many of the valves we offer are manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE is a type of polymer that is inert durable. As a result, it is very useful in applications that involve the transport of volatile liquids. As naturally non-stick, these valves do not require much maintenance or cleaning after installation.
iPolymer Check Valves
The check valve we offer includes an all PTFE wetted surface that enables exceptional performance in all types of high purity applications. The PTFE design of these valves effectively resists corrosive chemicals and other elements present in severe environments. These valves are ideal for applications that demand directional flow control and are used commonly as backflow prevention devices in clean operations.
Based on the cracking pressure and check valve size, certain external non-wetted parts may consist of PVDF or polypropylene. For cracking pressures higher than 6 psi (nominal 5 psi) the special internal control spring is manufactured from doubled Teflon coated stainless steel precision ground. For those cracking pressures between 3 to 6 psi (nominal 5 psi) the spring is made from machined virgin PTFE.
High-Grade Chemical Check Valves
The selection of valves we offer has been developed and manufactured specifically to operate successfully in severe environments in which other standard options are not likely to deliver the needed results.
High Purity Fluid Handling Industrial Applications
We focus on delivering innovation, responsiveness, and quality as we serve industry sectors such as chemical processing, waste management, bio-medical, life sciences, and more. Our goal is to deliver the specialty valves, air cylinders, connectors, and other flow devices our customers require to meet their objectives.
