Pneumatic Valves
The iPolymer Pneumatic Valve Family includes a wide-range of pneumatically actuated high purity fluid handling valves which are design, manufactured and stocked in our Irvine, California facility.
The iPolymer Pneumatic Valve Family is separated into three broad classifications:
1. General Purposes DI Water and Mild Chemistry Valves, consisting of our: DI Water Valves, Drain Valves, H2O Water Valves, Multi Purpose Valves and General Water Valves. The primary components of these valves are manufactured from either PVC, Polypropylene, or PVDF. Pneumatic valves are competitively priced and offer an affordable, durable solution for most mainstream applications. Depending on the materials of construction, pneumatic valves work well in most environments. If the valve is manufactured from PVC or Polypropylene exposed to hydrocarbons, solvents, and other external vapors must be considered. Amount of UV light (sun light) must be considered as well.
2. High Purity Valves (all-wetted-surfaces 100% PTFE), consisting of our: Chemical Resistant Valves, Teflon Pneumatic Valves, Inline Diaphragm Valves, and Miniature Pneumatic Diaphragm Valves. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known by its popular E.I. DuPont trade name Teflon®, is well suited to clean room, deionized water and harsh chemical applications. These valves are design to handle both ultra pure media as well as extremely caustic / harsh chemistries. The valve body and other internal components which are exposed to the fluid media are manufactured from PTFE.
3. Specialty Valves, consisting of our: Quick Dump Valves, Dilution Drain Valves and Diverter Valves. The primary components of these valves are manufactured from either PVC, Polypropylene, or PVDF.
As with most pneumatic devices, the primary actuation source is compressed dry air ("CDA"). To avoid moisture building up inside the pneumatic actuator, we recommend the air supply be mechanically or chemically dried. Please review the specific product literature to reference the actuation pressure range (it varies from product to product).
