MANUAL PTFE VALVE OPTIONS
Manual Valves are the simplest of fluid handling valves. Rather than actuating the valve stem remotely with a solenoid coil, or a pneumatic actuator, manual valves are physically actuated by the user. PTFE check valve products from iPolymer are suitable for a wide-range of applications, offering durable, high-grade performance that is appropriate for challenging environments, as well as more routine uses.
iPolymer manufactures five types of High Purity Manual Valve:

With our focus on high purity polymers, which are commonly used in harsh - caustic environments as well as ultra clean applications, iPolymer utilizes four basic materials for construction:
• Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
• Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)
• Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK)
• Polypropylene (Polypro)
Our most popular high purity valves are manufactured from a PTFE. PTFE is well suited for harsh chemical and corrosive/caustic media and environments. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known by its popular E.I. DuPont trade name TEFLON®, is also well suited to clean rooms and deionized water applications. We can provide a Teflon ball valve or other chemical check valve that can cope with the demands of a high-stress environment. To achieve an all-wetted-surface high purity solution, the valve bodies, stems, and ports are constructed from PTFE. For standard applications, external non-wetted components are constructed from natural PVDF and Polypropylene.
